Had an initial visit with a customer service representative Allison Ott and talked about my businesses needs. Went over previous issues with agents and made it clear how I had hoped going local would be the right decision for the business and customer service.
As soon as I had started she said they were customer focused and then began to NOT LISTEN to what I was saying and sell whatever she was pushing (things we didn’t need) and when I would try to redirect back on track she acted ticked off that I was interrupting her long winded, wrong direction, sales pitch which made me realize that while local is a very good way to do business, some individuals like Allison are great examples of telemarketers promoted to a position that they are actually going to hurt the name of the company they work for, not just get hung up on.
Went across town and did business with the competition. Local is not dead, some people’s inability to use their ears and eyes to see how the customer is disengaged is just trying their hardest to kill it.
