It is average insurance unless you need hospitalization.
They regularly deny the last day of hospitalization even though my doctors have written letters about the medical necessity for me being there. They also pre-approved a surgery with one overnight stay.
They decided after I had the surgery to not cover the night in the hospital. It was necessary I be in the hospital. My calcium levels were tanked and it was affecting my heart function. That didn’t matter to GEHA.
