State Farm -Theresa Miley’s office on Lake Murray Blvd in Irmo SC. This office is quite possibly the worst office I have ever dealt with. The way they treat policy holders is completely appalling.
I was with them for over 10 years and then when I got married, brought my husband over for the past 5-6 years. My husband is currently deployed in Afghanistan, and this office was WELL AWARE of that situation. Guess it is completely acceptable to cancel a policy on a DEPLOYED VETERAN who is serving their country.
And that so called cancel was based on two claims that were LESS than $1,000. State Farm cares more about MONEY than they do MILITARY!!!!!! Have made SEVERAL mistakes, and will not do anything to fix their mistakes. No use in asking for anyone in “real management” because their so called office manager (Sarah) is just a snotty girl with an attitude who likes to throw around she is a licensed agent. But she can’t even process information over correctly and admit when she makes a mistake.
I had two accidents that were not my fault and as anyone else would, gave my insurance company my FR10 forms. But conveniently, State Farm has lost them and does not have the forms anymore. However, tells my new insurance company that I was at fault for the accidents. But of course I am the crazy customer for asking them to fix that mistake, and I should do all the work to fix it.
I feel so sorry for anyone who has a policy with this office and just State Farm in general. A pathetic display of customer service and knowledge of how to handle insurance. Will never recommend this office or State Farm in general to anyone.
My entire family HAD policies with State Farm and went through the same exact chaos, and have now switched to different companies. Sadly, it was at this same office. Might be time for Theresa Miley to re-think who she has working for her. Not worth losing business over idiots who work in your office. And based on the several reviews on State Farm, shows that I am not alone in how awful this company is. I will make sure everyone knows how they treat people.
