Takes a year to get a real customer service person on the phone. Plans are well devised to deny or pay less for most of the claims. Avoid them if possible.
I have had the worse experience with this company and would not recommend it. My husband applied for insurance through an agent through the exchange with WIN Health. We sent our payment in and they cashed the check on December 11 for coverage beginning January 1. It is January 14th and several calls, emails later, we still have not received our insurance cards.
My husband has health conditions and has not been able to pick up his prescriptions and has had to cancel doctors appointments. I call just for them to give me a number to use at the pharmacy and I get no help. They tell me it is because of the government. Not the case. My son signed up for Blue Cross Blue Shield 3 weeks later and received his insurance cards.
I would be hesitant to go with a company that is so unorganized and prepared to expect that they would pay for claims.
I too paid my plan in Nov. for Jan. Put me on the wrong plan, blamed marketplace, my premium is different every month. They won’t send me invoices in the mail but keep promising. Took forever to get my id card. They kept promising. Takes forever to call them and forever for them to call you.
They have all kinds of different reasons why everything gets mixed up or blame others or they’re gonna tell some other department. I’ve also been turned down prescriptions I take for life because you can get over-the-counter. I thought marketplace because I need help paying meds.
