Hanston Insurance Agency (Mindy Cure) are crooks!!
We own a house in Hanston, Kansas. You wouldn’t think a hometown insurance office would last long if they ripped people off like they did us. We insured a house through Hanston State Insurance (Mindy Cure) and paid the premiums on time as normal.
A storm did some damage to the siding on the house and I filed an insurance claim with Hanston Insurance (Mindy Cure). Mindy Cure said that I had let the insurance lapse and wasn’t covered. I was flabbergasted!!! We have had insurance with them for years! So Mindy finally pulled her head out & found she had made an error and we actually did have insurance…DUH! (poor filing/computer skills??)
Back to the claim: The house was damaged on all sides (siding) and the estimate to fix it was $16,000. Hanston Insurance (Mindy Cure) gave us $3000. Yeah!!! Ridiculous!!
I’ll definitely be taking this up with the Kansas Insurance Department in Topeka. If you do business with Hanston Insurance (Mindy Cure), you might want to get everything in writing every month and watch her closely. Or just don’t do business with her at all!
