Review
I chose Eduardo Hernandez Insurance Agency as my insurance agency back in October 2010. I have been paying them on a monthly basis, via Card payment over the phone, since then. On 9/14/2011, I gave them a call to make my monthly payment, and they told me they were not taking phone payments anymore and that I needed to call the provider, Pronto Insurance.
I gave Pronto a call and they told me that my insurance had been cancelled since June of 2011. They had not received my last four payments. They told me that I had been uninsured since then. I called Eduardo Hernandez and they told me that they did not take my payments.
I checked my bank statements and sure enough, on 7/15 and 8/15 i had made the payments to EHIA Insurance agency. The Agent at Eduardo Hernandez asked me to send her proof so, I took a screenshot and sent it to her. Ever since then, I have been getting the runaround. Every time I call I am told that I will be called back and I have yet to receive one phone call from them.
Its been over a month now and I am still uninsured and still have not had this issue resolved. Every time I call I get hung up on or am told that they don’t speak English.
I have already filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and their Fraud Department.
