Review
ZERO STARS. I’ve dealt with insurance after hurricanes, storms, a fire, car accidents but never have I dealt with any insurance agent, or any business as unprofessional as Charlotte Kelly.
I did not get the promised call back when I called in a claim against one of her clients for damaging my property. I could not get a response back acknowledging receipt of the information she requested. Took 3 tries to receive a terse <> No salutation or signature, just ‘don’t call us, we’ll call you’.
I waited, silently, for her to contact me for 12 days. Twelve days and no claim number, no company name, no claim agent.
Never took that long to get a claim going even after a major hurricane.
What if my car was totaled? Or my house gone? I’m supposed to wait till she gets around to it?
At this point, I’m not even sure if she runs a legitimate business.
Finally, I sent an email demanding action. Each of her successive responses has been increasingly unprofessional, seemingly trying to intimidate me out of my right to file a claim at all, complain to State Insurance Commissioner’s office or post a review.
Your insurance agent is a reflection of YOU and YOUR BUSINESS. Is this the kind of person you want representing YOU? Is that how you want YOUR insurance agent treating/addressing someone who could potentially SUE YOU? Do you want people to file against the insurance you paid for, or, to avoid dealing with Charlotte Kelly, take you to court? That’s what I am considering.
