Like most insurance companies, they immediately say NO.
I shipped a piece of art and the shipper claims he used Inter Trans, The art was dropped at my driveway with no signature by UPS, left it with a forklift hole in it. Susan the adjuster for inter Trans says when it comes out of the back of the truck it yours. What the heck does that mean?
I didn’t even get a policy or shipping date from them. It wasn’t even supposed to be insured by them, I was told it was Shipped and insured by UPS. A $7000 piece of art with a hole through it and they disavow all knowledge or Claims. Aim Shipping in California used them and they also don’t want any responsibility.
Will see if they are in cahoots, Lawyer fees will cost about that much 7K but it will be my pleasure because I believe they may be Frauds
