Review
My father purchased life insurance using Atlas Insurance Brokers about ten years ago. Beforehand, the selling agent was more than eager to sell life insurance using selling points that are, in my opinion, dishonest. Although lack of research on my father’s part led to this, it revealed the dishonest practices .
Although he knew how most insurance policies work(house/car) he wasn’t familiar with life insurance. What had happened was that my dad was assured that all the money that was put into the insurance would be refunded once the policy is canceled. Also, he was told that that money would be available to him at all times just like a savings fund and that he would have access to it at all times but the part on conditions was purposely left out.
Everything was done is such a way that is an inch short of being a scam. Although my father should’ve known better and conducted proper research, it is utterly compelling to me that these agents would use dishonest tactics to make a sale.
