My review that I am posting on the BBB site and others.
“I have had a terrible experience with this firm. I used them to obtain commercial liability insurance for my retail stores. As my company expanded, each time I prepared to open a new location, I contacted the firm and gave them all the information they requested to have the new store covered.
Each time I would ask for documentation as to the coverage, I was told the process would take time and that I should be patient. I eventually had 5 stores open and I believed that I was properly insured. I continually asked for copies of the policies and documentation that I was covered and I was continually told the process took a lot of time and that I should be patient. I was even talked to in a condescending manner on several occasions.
It was not until recently when I believed that I may have to file a claim and contacted the firm, that the owner of the firm told me that she needed to have a meeting with me. It was during that meeting that Karen Niehaus the owner of the firm told me that she had been negligent and never submitted any of the new stores for coverage. I was informed by her that she had been lying to me for over a year and a half.
I cannot believe that the owner of a business and a licensed insurance agent would continually and repeatedly lie to a client about the duties that she was supposed to have performed and about the coverage that I had. She literally put my business in jeopardy.
I truly believe that anybody who is considering using her as their insurance agent should absolutely not do it. You cannot trust her to do what she said she will do and it is proven that she will lie to you over and over again.
I am posting this review to help protect other businesses and individuals from the absolutely terrible service and completely untrustworthy person that Karen Niehaus is.”
