Had an agent come to my house 16th December 2011. My mom passed away a month before we used her life ins to cover her funeral. We found burial policies we wanted him to find out about, he told us lib national would only pay half of the face value of the policies but he wrote down the policy numbers said he would let us know. Then went to my dads had him sign a paper no copy was left so were still not sure if the company is paying half or full value??
Have already spoken to customer service do I have to get in touch with corporate office for such a simple answer?? Telling everyone I know to find their policies before someone dies. The agent should have checked for additional policies when the life insurance ones were turned in.
Now since we didn’t find the burial papers when she passed away now there only worth half??
