Our small business filed an 8,000 stolen property claim. 5 months later we find out that we did have the proper coverage even though he had provided proof to our banks. It took another 4 months for him to file a claim through his errors and omissions insurance.
We were finally paid less than the whole amount 9 months after we reported the claim. He only spoke to us on the phone 1 time and never followed through, we had to report him to the insurance commissioner to get any action out of him.
Now farmers says we’re stuck with him until June or have to pay a 2000 fee, but after nearly 30 phone calls and 10 emails he continues to refuse to contact us.
Everyone makes mistakes but were lied to for 9 months. He nearly put our new small company out of business.
