Alternatives Insurance® was established in St Louis County in the fall of 1992 .  As our business grew and our coverage territory expanded we needed a business model that would allow us to continue this growth and success.  We recognized this could  be accomplished if each additional location was staffed with committed service and management personnel who understood the principles and service standards we had developed at our first location. 
 
In 2004 we decided to establish the group as a “membership organization” in order to create a system that would allow us to continue the principles and standards we built for ourselves in 1992.  Each Alternatives Insurance® location is operated and managed by an individual committed to you, our client.  In most cases, this manager owns the agency you will visit.   As “licensed members” our managers understand their success is based entirely on your satisfaction.   The Alternatives Insurance® Group, along with our insurance carriers and affiliates, provide the tools each member needs to focus on what they know best, developing a coverage package tailored specifically for  your needs.

Our full line of products now include automobile, homeowners, watercraft, motorcycle, recreational vehicles, life, health, and commercial markets for every need.  Whether you are a single person starting out in life or a retired empty nester, we can offer the necessary products to fit you.
