We are an Independent Insurance Agency that was started in 1926 by Wyche B. Murphy Sr. in Stillwater OK. His son Wyche Murphy Jr. CPCU joined the agency in the 1940’s becoming the Property and Casualty specialist in the agency. Wyche’s son John W. Murphy began his insurance career as a Prudential Special Agent in 1985, John joined the agency as the Life and Health specialist in 1990’s. The Murphy Agency continues to service and sell Individual & Group Health Insurance, Auto & Home as well as Commercial P&C and Employee Benefits to Stillwater and the surrounding communities. With the recent passage of the Affordable Care Act having a knowledgeable health insurance advocate/agent has never been more important.
