What does Auto Club auto insurance offer for members?
Auto Club Group offers its members numerous optional coverages, generous benefits, and discounts. However, the level of coverage and number of benefits members enjoy depends on their policy level.
Auto Insurance Plans
ACG offers members a tiered plan. Levels include Essential, Advantage, and Ultimate.
- All levels provide members with small-claim forgiveness, a promise that the company will not raise rates after claims of $250 for at-fault accidents and $750 auto claims for other accidents.
- Members with Advantage and Ultimate plans can avoid increased rates after an accident by going claims-free for five years.
- Members who choose the Ultimate plan gain three extra benefits, claims-free rewards, a disappearing deductible, and an extra claims forgiveness opportunity.
Note that you could only get the extra claims forgiveness at sign-up.
Auto Insurance Coverages from Auto Club Group
Along with standard coverages like collision and comprehensive auto insurance, AAA members can add rental car reimbursement, Med Pay, and limited pet coverage. Members in no-fault states will want personal injury protection (also called no-fault auto insurance).
Auto Club Group also offers a few extra options to its members as part of its customer care package:
- With Enhanced Total Loss Replacement, ACG will pay you to replace your vehicle if it’s totaled in a crash.
- The company’s loan/lease GAP coverage will also pay off the rest of your car loan or lease if your car is totaled before you can settle the debt.
- ACG’s Enhanced Exterior Repair Option allows you to get original equipment manufacturer parts for car repairs, excluding glass and mechanical tools.
ACG members may also have coverage if they do rideshare or other transportation network company work. And of course, all members can take advantage of AAA’s renowned roadside assistance. Note that not all coverages may be available in ACG’s total service area.
Discounts
ACG has a total of 18 discounts for its members, including:
- Payment discounts. You can save by going paperless, setting up automatic payments, and purchasing your policy a specific number of days before it goes into effect.
- Safe-driving discounts. Among these discounts are those for taking a defensive driving course and enrolling in the AAADrive phone app/telematics program.
- Vehicle discounts. You can save by having a vehicle with factory-installed safety devices and adding anti-theft devices.
You could also save if you have students listed on your policy and if you switch to AAA insurance without a lapse in coverage.
